Description
Rust Proof Compound L is a solvent, cut-back rust preventative for use on all ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces
subjected to corrosive atmospheres. Rust Proof Compound L is manufactured from petrolatum and a combination of
special additives. It has a high level of rust inhibition and is smooth in texture.
Rust Proof Compound L contains a solvent for easy application; it can be sprayed or brushed onto a metal surface.
The solvent evaporates, leaving a durable, adhesive lubricant layer which protects metal surfaces from rust for
long periods.

Rust Proof Compound L is recommended for use on all ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces subjected to corrosive
atmospheres. Rust Proof Compound L can be used for a wide variety of applications in the marine field. Some typical
uses are towing cables, shipboard equipment (running lines and standing lines), canal locks and spare parts (bearings,
pistons, etc.).
